Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) is ripping into corporations who are touting their support for Pride Month while they also throw money at anti-LGBTQ politicians who persecute the queer community.
Jayapal has taken to Twitter showing screenshots of companies who’ve changed their social media graphics to “show Pride” along with the receipts on how much they’ve paid to block pro-LGBTQ legislation.

AT&T donated $56,295 to Sen. Mitch McConnell’s (R-KY) 2020 campaign. McConnell has held LGBTQ civil rights legislation hostage for years in the Senate, both as a minority and majority leader.
AT&T is also being held accountable by the #KeepYourPride campaign that also targets supposed allies who are funding anti-LGBTQ politicians who actively harm the community. The group is also focusing on Anheuser-Busch, NBCUniversal, General Motors, and Coca-Cola.
